Dear Editor,
The metal transmission line, NSN NSN National Stock Number
NSN Nokia Siemens Networks
NSN National Storytelling Network
NSN NATO Stock Number
NSN New Substances Notification (CEPA)
NSN National Student Number (NZ)
NSN Never Say Never 4710-01-184-4896, shown as Item 7 in Fig 179 of TM 9-2350-256-2HP-1, comes in two pieces that are joined together with a rubber hose and two hose clamps A hose clamp or hose clip is a device used to attach and seal a hose onto a fitting such as a barb or nib. A hose clamp is not the same as a pipe clamp which is a clamp made partly out of a pipe, not a clamp for clamping pipe. .
The problem we have is with the clamps, NSN 4730-00-908-3194, that come with the transmission line. They are too large. After tightening the clamps, the ends stick out about two inches.
Those ends are really sharp, so it's very easy to cut yourself.
We've started substituting smaller hose clamps, NSN 4730-00-908-3195.
Those clamps don't have the longer ends, so you don't have to worry about getting cut.
Peter Kohler Kohler, village (1990 pop. 1,817), Sheboygan co., E Wis., on the Sheboygan River; inc. 1912. The Kohler plumbing-fixtures plant there, which still produces its famous stainless-steel products, has been the scene of some of the longest and most bitter labor disputes
Maintenance Activity
Vilseck, Germany
(Editor's note Editor's Note (foaled in 1993 in Kentucky) is an American thoroughbred Stallion racehorse. He was sired by 1992 U.S. Champion 2 YO Colt Forty Niner, who in turn was a son of Champion sire Mr. Prospector and out of the mare, Beware Of The Cat.
Trained by D. : That idea's a cut above! If you don't want to replace the bigger clamps, loosen and rotate them so that the ends are underneath the hose instead of on top of it.)
